Rated 4 out of 5 by Anickname4me the mattess is fine My wife did not want me to order these but I did. You see we have three grandkids and needed new matteresses in the XL twin version. I could not see paying the price for 3 of them at other stores so I decided on my own to order these. My wife did not want matteressess that were rolled up when delivered. My thought is how can they possibly roll up a matteress before shipping, so I ordered them. Sure enough they arrived all rolled up. The trick here is that basically they are put into air tight packages and all air is vacuumed out "completely vacuum tight package" once there is absolutely no air in the pack they can be easily rolled like a sleeping bag and are done in such a manner as to keep the inner springs in line without damage to the matteress. When you put a cut into the vacuum tight package you will immediately hear the air fill the package and the matterss begins to unroll itself and take shape. The kids, ages 7, 8 and 9 have been sleeping for 3 weeks now without complaint. It might be helpfull to add a pillow topper pad, but it is not really necessary. 12/11/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hellotaxi A great basic mattress I did quite a bit of comparison shopping online, and this offering from Wal Mart seemed to be the best bang for the buck. I was not disappointed! One minor caveat, though. When delivered, one's first impression is that this could not possibly be what I ordered. The packaging is so compact that it doesn't seem possible that a mattress is in there. Trust me, it is! When I finally weaseled it out of it's zippered shipping satchel (which is sturdy enough to be used for luggage in a pinch!), I punctured the plastic bag surrounding the mattress, and with a mighty WHOOSH it attained the full shape and dimensions one would expect in a mattress. Rated 5 out of 5 by TinVA5 Excellent Mattresses! We ordered two of these twin mattresses for the Elise Pine Bunk Bed Set also from Walmart.com.They came in giant rolled up cylinders. They were shippped with the air compressed out. I had to cut them out of the rolls and then cut the thick plastic sheeting and they opened up to twin mattresses. My girls love these mattresses. They are very comfortable and well worth the money. 12/06/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by imafanofwalamart Sleeping great now. I love this mattress. I brought this mattress home and slept and it about three hrs. later, even though it was vaccume sealed. I not longer have a sore back when I wake in the morning and I am sleeping great. I would definately recommend this to anyone. Great price for a great product. 03/06/2011
