Owing to its compact size, the vacuum cleaner doesnt take up much storage space. It can be hung with the wall bracket that comes along. Works okay. The best thing I love about this Shop-Vac is that it, for all its flaws still out performs any upright I've ever used. It's easy to clean and the filter can be used over an over again. If you use it for light duty then you should have no issues with it. This vacuum should work great for your vehicle and its small and light enough to be portable.Pros:Excellent power.Is able to pick up wet spills.Easy to tote around.Easy to clean.Inexpensive.Lightweight.Reusable foam filter.Cons:Short hose with no extensions.Short Cord.Clogs easily. Where the hose goes inside the canister debris will often clog between it and the filter. Especially when used to pick up spilled popcorn or potato chips.Tips over constantly. 08/07/2010
Works great! I really like this little vac! I have owned this item for about 3 months. I use it 3 or 4 times a week... mostly on doghair. Understandabley, due to its compact size, this vac does require frequent emptying of debris; so I hope the little plastic clips (one on each side of vac where red top snaps onto the black bottom chamber) hold up well. If one of those little clips ever breaks, this vac will be done, even if the suction is still operating well.So far, this little Shop-Vac delivers everything the description promises. It is very powerful and is as well made as any over shop-vac type product I have ever used.I am pleased with it. I have used other brand vaccuum attachments with this unit, (such as a straight "extender tube" attatchment from a full size "shop-vac" I already owned) and the other brand attachments fit this item well and are compatible with it. In this way I can create a longer suction reach; so the fairly short suction tube that comes with this unit is not too inconvenient if you already have some other "shop-vac" attachments on hand.This lightweight vac does tip over sooo easily if you try to use it while it is set on the ground. But the handle on top makes it easy to carry around.It works great as an all-over house vaccuum!!I am happy that the small size, light weight and portability of this vac will be especially useful for vaccuuming high, hard to reach places. Have you ever tried to use a large, full-size, heavy, shop-vac up high... where you have to climb a ladder to reach the goal, such as getting the cobwebs in ceiling peak? Dangerously awkward. To vaccuum up high, with this small, light unit, I can now climb a ladder more safely. I even plan to rig a small, old backpack as a carrier for this unit, so I can vaccuum with one hand and hold the ladder (instead of the shop-vac carrying handle) with the other hand.I really like this 1 Gallon Shop Vac Hang Up Wet/Dry Vac. I definately recommend this; especially at this affordable price. In my opinion, it is worth it! I'm glad I bought it and would buy another if needed. I would have appreciated this as a gift as well.** NOTE : The cord on this unit is very short. Not much reach at all for moving around, unless you are right next to an outlet.... so, please know that you will want an extension cord to add to this great little vac. Worth every penny My husband and I bought this to clean out our vehicles because our home vacuum really didn't have enough suction to pick everything up. Even though this is a little vacuum it has a lot of suction! Wish it was big enough to use on our carpet it is way better than our home vacuum! 07/18/2010
