The BD 305557 Sharps Collector is ideal for use in pediatric, geriatric and other areas involving high risk. The 1.4 qt Sharps container has a red base and clear top for getting a clear view of the fill level to prevent over-filling. With built-in ports for needle removal, the BD Sharps collector avoids any body contact with sharp needle-sticks at the time of disposal. It comes with final and temporary closures that ensure safety and precaution, with the temporary closure promoting intermediate transportation and usage. This red Sharps collector remains detachable on tray or on counter or separately mounted in a cup bracket for additional safety. It carries a safety warning against ecological-hazard.
