Rated 2 out of 5 by Really dim screen & alarm is too quiet The screen cover is a bit of a sham to make it seem like the alarm clock is bright but it's actually really hard to see during the day and night. Unfortunately, there is no option to have the back light on the whole time and only turns on for a few seconds when you press the snooze button. The alarm clock MUST run on batteries so when your set of batteries die, you must reset the time, date, and alarm(s). I know it doesn't take long but when you're having to do it every month, it can get a bit tedious. On the other hand, as a heavy sleeper, I need a loud alarm to wake me up in the morning, so I was disappointed to find out the alarm only sets off medium-loud beeps. In the end, I returned the alarm clock but what else should you expect, it was only $20. 05/16/2012
