Tough Act To Follow ... This was a replacement for another Sharp micowave (MultiChoice Carousel R-490AK) that I absolutely loved with its built-in recipes and little musical tune played when done. I even tried getting it repaired, but Sharp no longer supplied the parts and it was too costly through other avenues. I guess after 10 years the purpose was served, but this new Sharp R-530ES has a hard act to follow. So far so good - it's more powerful, a little bigger and it looks good. I'm pleased. 08/13/2009
As advertized I replaced a 27 year old Sharp microwave with this model. It is perfect. Even the controls are in the same spot. Does exactly what I need. The price was the lowest for all sources I compared. Delivery was exactly as stated. Fits perfectly into the kitchen cabinet slot from which I removed the old microwave. Now, I will hope it lasts as long as the last one. 03/03/2011
reliable product I had the older model of the same sharp microwave and never had a problem for 10 years. The door was sticking after 10 years and parts were no longer available so I purchased this. I already know this product is great!! Go for it! It heats welland is very durable. Sharp is a great name. 02/11/2010
Excellant Product Looks good, easy to use, like the glass window, cooks excellent, and has a good deal of nice features. Like the previous 2 Sharp Microwave Ovens we have owned this one seems to be a quality product and should last for many years. 06/08/2010
