Rated 2 out of 5 by GATGA Does not have some "standard" features. We have had Sharp Microwave ovens for several years and been satisfied with them, so we looked for Sharp this time. This oven has issues with the door closing. It must be closed very firmly (you might say it must be slammed shut) or the oven will not operate. This unit also lacks some expected features, namely an oven light (which comes on when the door is open) as well as a kitchen timer. Others of these units might not have the door issue. Sharp was willing to replace. Another inconvenience is the power setting. If you use less than full power cooking for some items you must push the power button up to as many as 11 times. 03/28/2013

It is small enough to sit on the countertop without taking up a lot of room. We have only had it a couple of weeks, but seems to work great! Looks good, too! 03/28/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by MacDewdle The microwave is smaller on the outside than my old one, which was great for more counter space. I wanted the microwave mainly for reheating. My one concern was that I wanted it tall enough for a good 8oz size glass to fit inside to warm my milk up for chocolate milk in the winter and fit on the turntable. I tried this first thing, and it was perfect. Nothing negative to say about the microwave only to say my one microwave went down and I immediately ordered off this site, thinking it would be the best deal. But paying a bill at night, I found the product at the dept. store cheaper. I was paying my bill not looking for the microwave but they had it sitting there right when i came in the door. The microwave was already in the ordering process and too far to stop it. I found the microwave on my steps after work just a couple days after the order, and about a week earlier than the original day i was given for arrival! The Wal-mart store doesn't price match other stores, when ordered off the internet they told me at the store. But merchandise comes fast! They said I could bring it there for return though. I decided tokeep it and I like the little microwave. It is much lighter for me to pick up than the older and not much bigger one, my back appreciates it! Very easy to use right out of the box. 03/25/2013

The instructions were somewhat confusing, and different than my previous microwave, but I'll adjust eventually, I'm sure. Have only had it for a week, so time will tell. 04/12/2013
