Rated 4 out of 5 by TrioSinger Great vacuum for the price. Really like this vacuum when using it as strictly a vacuum. We compared it to others before the purchase. The only thing I don't like is using the hard floor attachment. While it does an incredible job, you have to carry the canister around with you, which makes it more difficult to use. It only came with one washable pad for the hard floor attachment and wish it came with two. For the price, we feel it is more than adequate. 11/23/2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by shadowguarddog If you're use to bag vacuums, you most likely won't like this one. It's cleans effectively but takes getting use to. It being bagless means when you empty it there's going to be a mess. You will get dirty hands at the very least! It cleans carpets like no tomorrow and doing carpeted stairs works really well too. Cleans bare floors fairly well. You'll have to wash out the dirt container when you're finished or it'll look horrible it being clear, but not really a big deal. Of course you'll have to wipe down the entire machine too it being white and all. 01/18/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by scout1974 So far, so good! I bought this vacuum cleaner a few weeks ago and so far, I love it! It is very easy to use - the parts snap off and on very easily. The suction power is excellent. It does great on hardwood surfaces, as well as carpets and stairs. I've used the pet hair attachment on my stairs and that was great! The canister empties very easily, but you do need to be careful not to hold it too far above the trash or else dust will blow everywhere. I don't miss the vacuum bags at all. The filters come out smoothly for periodic cleaning too. The lift-off vac makes it nice to carry it around for jobs in higher places or on stairs. 05/08/2012

After two really stinky vacuum cleaners, this is a breath of fresh air in my home (literally). I feel like I am cleaning better than ever before. Love the swivel feature too; makes it easier to manuever. The feature that was most important to me was that it would clean wood floors as 90% of my floors are wood with rugs on them. Every other vacuum cleaner I've had that claimed they would clean wood floors always spit all the dirt out the back onto my feet and legs. This Shark vacuum cleaner is super at cleaning wood floors. Absolutely no dirt spitting out the back! I've got a dog who chews up stuffed animals and this vacuum cleans up all the "stuffing". My dog does not shed, so I don't know how it would do with pet hair, but my guess is "fabulous". As you can tell, I am completely sold on this Shark product. It was worth every penny spent! I highly recommend it! 04/23/2012
