I bought this to fit under hanging clothes in closet to hold, not shoes, but several pairs of jeans, cargo pants and other heavy clothing that wouldn't fit in my dresser. Works great for that since the shelves are flat and can bear much more weight than I can possibly stack on each shelf. Although the plastic 3-drawer units would have fit that space, I felt that I would have easily overloaded those flimsy drawers. Very pleased with the way this has worked out. 03/15/2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by yeaahh I reviewed shoe rack feedback prior to this purchase. With all the problems with "cubby type" racks being to small, I choose 2 of these shelving units to stow my footwear. Taller knee high boots fit nicely on top..and all other shoes fit beneath.. This shelving also gives you optional layouts of multiple stacking and side x side. Hubby put together in just a few minutes.. Highly recommend... 03/12/2013

And more importantly it fits perfectly in my closet. it holds a nice feel to it, modest elegance, if you will.My only complaint would be when I was assembling it, one of the foot parts broke due to a manufacturing error, but after some tinkering I was able to mend it. It's barely even noticeable now. 03/12/2013
