My safe won't stay locked after just one year of ownership, is there any way to fix this problem?

Since this safe is able to be re-programmed by the user, the only way you can get in if you forgot your combination is to use the override key that came with the unit. If you have lost the key, please contact our customer service dept at 1-877-736-8794 and they can help you to get a replacement key.

After seeing this same item at the local OSH HARDWARE STORE priced at $79.00, went looking on line and found Walmart selling same thing for about $54.00 and free shipping. I jumped right on ordering and it and had it 2 days later. Great job Walmart. Just wish the employees at our local Walmart were on the ball with stocking the shelves and having cashiers available when the store is busy.

Sentry Safe Portable Security Safe

We purchased this safe for my son who is in his freshman year of college. He just moved into his dorm. He said it was very easy to set up and secure without drilling holes.

Good Safe for college students

this safe is quite nice.  It is large enough for my laptop and my valuables. It is strong and portable. I live the fact that I can teather it to my car seat when not in the car.

The reason I got it is to hold my computer and belongings purchased it 8 2018 one day last week I could not open it never put batteries in it only used the key I needed my computer and it would not open I had to force it open so now I need the key and combo  Assembly hope you can warranty it so I'm waiting for a reply from you guys thanks Chris T.

Problem with it

Nice heavy box, but the lock is made of PLASTIC.  Look at the pictures.  Within hours of getting this the plastic lock got out of alignment and now does not lock at all.  Besides the digital lock, you can open it with a key.  That key has 1 pin.  Look at your home door key.  all those notches relate to the number of pins in the lock -  usually 5 or 6 pins. This lock has 1 pin.

What a change from the old superbowl ads standing up to a bullet.  Now if the OWNER turns the knob, the plastic lock stays unlocked.  How far this company has fallen!

It has a PLASTIC lock that broke within hours

I owned this safe for a little over a month. It was so easy to break into apparently. I was unaware of this until after I saw that it was wide open and all my effects missing. 1st the plastic knob you use to turn the lock pin into and out of its security feature was frankly the poorest idea in my opinion. When making a safe who thinks plastic, yes that's solid?! All that was done was they broke the plastic knob, disabling the pin mechanism, then somehow got the pins to drop out of the inside plastic piece they lock into. Wella they were in. I was also shown by my son, anyone that could pick a bedroom lock door or your average front door lock could pick the key entry option. Which my son demonstrated to me the 2nd week I owned it. I just assumed you would have to be a locksmith to do so. Later my son showed me no, anyone can learn how to pick this specific lock on you tube. If looking for a safe that will actually keep your precious papers or items safe. Don't go with a key option safe nor a safe that is built with plastic as part of the makeup. My poor choice cost me a tremendous amount of money and irreplaceable items.

Made poorly, Plastic on.a Safe?

The safe is beautiful, and seemingly secure, but I replaced this safe 4 times and the mechanisms would not allow entry for me to utilize it. I am seriously disappointed because I really wanted this safe!
