    A great product!! This product does exactly what it says. I had jewelry in mine when the family home burned down. It protected every last piece of jewelry. I have since purchased two more. I would not live anywhere without one. 07/24/2007
    Sentry Fire-safe security chest I purchased this chest to safely protect valuables if a fire occurred. Hopefully, there never will be a fire in this apartment, but I can assure you that this chest holds lots of business envelope size folded papers, checks, credit cards, jewelry, money and lots of important papers. It is very well layered, thick and heavy and has a handle and a lock. It looks and feels strong enough to protect valuables from fire. The key is basic and flimsy and I suspect that it can easily be picked. Besides, if someone breaks into the apartment, they can take the entire box. It's heavy but can be carried. But I didn't purchase the chest for protection against theft. I purchased it for protection against fire. I strongly believe that it will protect your valuables. 12/01/2007
    time your fire I have this product and have bought one for my mother to protect our valuables in the event of fire. Last week, our dear friends who also had 2 of these, home burned and these boxes are lumps of ashes. You have to read the small print. They are only fire proof for 30 MINUTES !! Who times a fire?!? I am taking all my valuables to the bank vault. It may be an inconvience but at least I'll have my valuables when and if the smoke should clear. 03/04/2008
