Wonderful mattress This mattress is wonderful. I had purchased a used crib and mattress from a friend. The mattress was as hard as plywood. By two months old, my son would sleep (almost) all night in bed with me on my Sterns&Foster latex mattress, but would toss and turn and wake up every two hours or so when in his crib. I decided to try to find a crib mattress that was comparable to my latex mattress, and I found this one. He loves it. The first night, he slept 9 hours in a row! Two weeks later, he is still sleeping long stretches every night and even seems less crabby when he wakes up. Well worth the money! 06/19/2010
ours was just ok is it just me, or was this mattress beat up while being shipped to our house?! it comes in just a plastic bag, and it has 19 black scuff marks all over it! the metal frame at the top is bent, and there is no way of bending it back. it lifts up 2" when it's on the bed frame. it doesn't seem to mess with our son's sleeping, but it's a little upsetting when you pay 211 dollars for a mattress as small as this. it IS very good quality, and i'm sure it will last until he outgrows his toddler bed, but it is bent beyond fixing :( yes, i'd recommend this, and i have, but the 3 friends that have gotten one, also got them bent. so maybe they're leaving the warehouse that way??? not sure. 09/08/2010
