Rated 1 out of 5 by Hatrack Quality not as good as hoped I think the mattress is really important and try to buy a quality that I would sleep on.I thought this mattress would be firm and similar to our simmons. It was softer, I could feel the springs more and then I noticed my baby rolling to one side. The mattress wasn't level (we actually checked it with a level and it was way off). We checked the crib to see it that was the problem. The cirb was fine, but the mattress needed 6 magazines under it to get close to level.We were able to return it to Walmart as defective (I didn't want to deal with Sealy & get another Sealy, though I did report the defect to them. They said I'd have to take pictures, cut tags, etc. to get another mattress...It was just easier to return it to the store.)A few years ago I bought a Simmons beautyrest beginnings at another baby chain for my child's crib. Still love it. When the next baby came along I couldn't find it anywhere. Didn't want the Simmons from Walmart because it's only 1 sided no flip kind...not sure what that would be like.I ended up getting a nice Simmons at my large baby retail store that is very well made, firm, & exactly what I wanted. Apparently there is no longer a shortage of what I want. 08/10/2009

Rated 3 out of 5 by WildcatFan2 Too soft I was wary of buying a mattress online because I couldn't test the firmness, but I think I had the Sealy mattress that was a step down from this own with my first son and it was just fine, so I thought one that was $15 more and had better border edging would be better, right? Wrong. This mattress was WAY too soft. Laying anything on the mattress or gently pressing on it with my hand would make the mattress sink way down. It was also shipped in just a big plastic bag that was dirty and had some rips and tears in it.I ended up returning it to Wal-Mart and will try again. 09/07/2010
