The FreeAgent Go Dock accessory connects to your computer, allowing access to your FreeAgent Go portable drive without having to fumble for cables. When docked, the FreeAgent Go portable drive is held upright to optimize your desk space while you access, sync or back up files.
- The Seagate FreeAgent Desktop Dock comes with two USB cables attached. This ensures that your Seagate FreeAgent works with older PC's with USB 1.0 ports. The USB 1.0 standards do not supply enough power to allow external hard drives to run.
- Most new computers have USB 2.0 ports, which should supply enough power to allow your external hard drive to run. Compatibility may very depending on user's hardware configuration and operating system
