Rated 2 out of 5 by sensel Caution This sponge is shaped like and looks like the "Scrunge" made by O Cedar and Vileda (either recommended by Teflon) but it is not the same cleaning surface/technology used on those sponges. The original scrunges are a solid textured surface.. This Scotch-Brite product is a woven mesh surface.Walmart used to carry the original Scrunge (Vileda I think) but does not seem to carry it any more. I prefer the original Scrunge because it truly does not scratch your no scratch surfaces. You can also put it in the dishwasher to clean it (in a cage by the utensils). The Scrunge also does not seem to smell. I think this is because the solid surface rinses off easily, while the mesh surfaces have a far greater area for food to get stuck in and for bacteria to grow on.Walmart does sell O Cedar products. I wish they would sell the O Cedar No Scratch Scrunge (not to be confused with the Heavy Duty Scrunge!) or the Vileda. 08/29/2011
