I use them on pretty much everything, you just have to be less aggressive on scratch able surfaces. Can also use the sponge side if in doubt.

Hi Hawkeye. They're right. you shouldn't use any abrasive cleaning rag or sponge on non-stick surfaces. that is the neat thing about Scothch Brite has an abrasive side and a sponge side. just flip it over. you can clean your Teflon surfaces with the sponge.

As seen in the photos attached, the sunk had some staining Using the Scotch-Brite Heavy duty scrub sponge, the stains were effortlessly removed and the sink is shiney and clean. Unlike the other scrub sponges available, these are designed for heavy duty cleaning and my scratch softer surfaces.

If you have hobbies you might want to get at least a 6 pack, because you'll find yourself using them in all kinds of ways. They stay together, they scrub nicely and don't scratch my pots and pans which is very important to me. I don't use metal utensils when using my pots and pans and I like having a tougher non scratch sponge to use. 
I don't always use sponges and will rotate them into other projects and they end up used on the floor before I throw them out. It's nice these sponges hold up through the whole rotation and work as well on the last use on the floor/ outside cleaning as they do on my pots and pans.
