Perfect fit, low price Used this kit to install a Sony CDX-GT610UI into my 1995 GMC Sonoma. This kit fits perfectly and the color matches the original dash pieces exactly. I did need to trim a bit of plastic from the inside of the dash in order for the new head unit to slide in all the way, but I was aware of that ahead of time from researching the swap online beforehand. That took about 30 seconds with a dremel and may not be necessary with other head units. As others have mentioned, the pocket in the kit is a little redundant since the S trucks have a pocket that is directly below the stereo already. However, I like the extra storage pocket since there's not many other places to stick things in a standard cab Sonoma.Also, the price was great. Same kit I found elsewhere, but a lot cheaper. 12/24/2010

It does the trick! I used this Rack Kit to install a CD player into a 1996 Chevy Blazer and it worked very well! The stereo's in and running great. I don't care for the "shelf" underneath the stereo opening all that much as it doesn't snap into place very well (it often pulls out too when I'm pulling something from it), but it's not a big deal to pop it back into place. 07/02/2011
