Scooby-Doo Haunted House Game 3.8 5 37 43
Great find! Bought this for the great price, but wasn't sure how my 6 yr. old son would like it. He loves it & so do I! It ended up being really different than any other board game we've played. Fun for the whole family & lots of laughs! 05/14/2008
Depends on the child This game is great when you're actually playing it. Two main problems are the bad instructions for assembly and the fact that the assembled game does NOT fit in the game box. This means it has to be disassembled and reassembled every time you want to play. That's something of a pain and it's too difficult for my 5 year old to do himself. Older children might be able to do it themselves. I would have given the game five stars all over if it had just come in a larger box. One assembly is acceptable, but every time a kid wants to play (three times a day, often) is just too much. 01/11/2009
My son received this for his 5th birthday. He said we should give this 60 stars. He really loves the traps and played with this more than any other present he received. I was leary of other reviews regarding the lack of stability, but we have not had any problems. At first things were wobbly as he tried to push the ghost down, but he learned to be more careful and listen for the 'click' as he pushed. As previously mentioned, the instructions are vague but the picture on the box is sufficient to set it up. Storage is a little bothersome. Overall a good game that fits my son's interests. There are only 31 spaces on the board, so I'm grateful for the short playing time. I also felt the value at $14 was good and liked that no batteries are required. 12/16/2008
Scooby Doo Haunted House - hard to store You have to put the game together, which was interesting to say the least, and now it's not easy to store between uses.Other than that, it's a pretty fun game for the kids due to the moving parts. Little ones need help pushing the ghost down to activate the movement, so adults have to participate. 03/01/2010
