Rated 2 out of 5★ by Housejohnson Probably good for small kids, not for larger ones We bought this to use as a stroller and bike trailer for our 4 year old who is disabled, so she could go on bike rides/walks with the family. She is tall but thin & was extremely uncomfortable in this trailer, even just by herself. There is really no leg room at all for a larger child. If you look at the picture, you can see how the nylon seat comes down in the middle of the trailer. There is really no way to move it back. If they had allowed for reclining or put the seat back further, it would have worked much better. There is a ton of storage space, so if you have small children and you need lots of storage space, then this might work for you, but for us, I would have preferred less storage space and more leg room. Someone reviewed it and said their 6 yr old & another child fit and I can't imagine how that could possibly be true. There is no way I can see that happening. Additionally, the straps were very uncomfortable for my daughter. We returned it and are now looking for one with more leg room. 10/10/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by jbesseli Good Quality:Slightly smaller than In-Step Rocket We returned a mail order In-Step Rocket due to poor quality issues and bought this Schwinn Spirit Trailer at the local Walmart store and loved it. We are not using it for toddlers or kids right now, but to bring our 70lbs German Short Hair pointer along on bike trips. Will be used for kids in the future, but this trailer worked well for us. I have not used in stroller mode yet, so I cannot speak to the large plastic wheel quality, but it worked well as a bike trailer for payloads I want to carry. In-Step Hitch assy for bike side may not fit higher end Race Bike Frames / Rear Frame Carbon Forks-tbd. Worked well on Marin Bobcat Trail MTB bike we installed the hitch receiver on. See if your rear axel opposite the derailuer side has a place for the keyed washer on the receiver that goes under your rear wheel skewers, or axels.Trailer is Built in the same Pacific Cycle Factory as the In-Step models. 10/04/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by DogLady24 I have had this trailer for 3 years now and i love it. it is made to seat 2 small children but insted we use it for are 4 small dogs. The front wheel attachment is great for walking but not ment for a jogging stroller the wheel goes all crazy when you jog but just to walk its great. there is no brakes but there is a strap for your arm . we also use this as a trailer on are bikes and it works great and tows great. all together me and my husband LOVE this stroller/ trailer!!!!!! 05/13/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by HappyGirlsRide Good deal for the money First I am by no means a distant biker. Maybe 6-10 miles is our max. I have a very large 2 year old (size of a 5 year old boy) and a very thin petit 2 year old. They seem to fit fine inside. The straps are not the best maybe they could have done something a little better with them but they do the trick. Maybe I am a bad mom but i didn't force them to wear helmets. First time they went in they were a bit confused, but they seemed to like it. It was a piece of cake to put together and ten fact that it turns into a stroller with a large storage area is a plus. We were clueless on these trailers and initially bought the Instep something that started with a "P." before we even completely put it together we realized it was junk. Went back and got this one and we are very pleased. Unless your a professional biker or plan on going 23 miles with the kids, I say this is perfect. I would even dare go 15 miles but after that not so much. Hope this helpful for you soon to be double biking moms and dads. 06/16/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by mommabohama Uncomfortable Seat/ No Sun Protection I bought this thinking it would be a fun way to bring my 10 month old/ 2.5yr old on our bike rides. It is very uncomfortable for them. They are so close to each other that they can't move and the seat sits strait up and is more of a hammock than a seat. My 10 month old fell asleep in it and her head had no support (sitting straight up, her little head was dangling down:-( The straps that hold the seat up are cheap and continue to loosen, making the kids practically sitting on top of one another. The kids are not shaded from the sun and are in direct sunlight. 06/27/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by ickylek Very Happy We are quite happy with the product. Easy to assemble and use. The tires are adaptable to our situation (country roads) and there is plenty of room inside for two kids. 08/30/2013
