I bought and returned 4 different seats because they all looked so comfortable but they sure were not when i actually had to ride on them. But this seat is really nice!, i bought it also for my sister and for my mom, and they didnt like riding their bikes either until they used this seat :)

    Great Seat

I recently purchased a Next Avalon and though it comes with a very comfortable seat, my bottom would get uncomfortable after five miles. My old bones wanted something with more comfort. I decided to try the Schwinn Quilted Spring Bike Seat and I’m really happy with it. It’s like sitting on a padded bleacher seat instead of straddling a padded saw horse.

I love it. Regular bike seats are awful. This one makes biking more fun! No more sore butts after you get this seat. It is made for comfort. Well worth the money!

    • No. Thats called a seat post and you have to buy it separate. Make sure you buy the correct size seat post. Some are thicker than others. Schwinn for instance uses a thicker seat post on many of their bikes.

    • The seat has a receiver that slips over the seat post and then tightens down with a 9/16 wrench.

    • Without actually measuring the seat, it is a typical bicycle seat and was exactly the same size as the one I replaced on a different bicycle brand. It is not a sporty narrow style seat found on many racing or sporty bicycles

    • This is an extra large seat compared to other seats available. LXWXH is 9 1/2" x 10" x 2" (not including the spring/mount). Hope this helps.

    • It's 10" long by 10" wide by 2" thick not counting the springs. This is the standard "fatboy" seat size. You can't really get one bigger unless you buy something like the Cloud 9 seat.

    • Actual seating area is 9" front to rear, 9" side to side and 2 1/4 H. Seat at widest is 10 x 10. I measured inside the white trim.
