Perfect Trike!

I can't say enough good things about this trike. I did a lot of research before purchasing 3 of these trikes for my triplet boys. I bought them when they were 2 years and 3 months. My kids are all short for their age, so I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to reach the pedals. My short stacks can reach the pedals just fine. :) This trike DOES NOT TIP, even when they are going mach speed and make a sharp turn. They can drive over big bumps and sticks, and it still doesn't tip. I also like that it has rubber tires as opposed to cheap plastic wheels that most trikes have. They make for a very smooth ride for my boys. They were very easy to assemble, and I am not mechanically inclined at all! All three trikes took about 30 minutes to put to together. This trike is definately worth the extra money spent. I did site-to-store to save on shipping, and my trikes arrived a week earlier than scheduled.

my son is 3 and i bought him this because my little niece received this for her 2nd birthday. i couldnt get him off of it so i bought it. I love everything about this except for the fact that after about 10mins of riding it he tells me his legs are tired so we can't really ride it far. it has a perfect seat the handle bars are perfect. i would definitely recommend this

I was deciding between this and the classic Radio Flyer, which I opted against because our daughter is only two. I had heard this was a bigger bike but figured she would grow into it if she didn't already reach the pedals. She can reach them--(she's at 90% for height, for reference) but it's a little heavy for her to pedal right now. That being said, it's a stable, well-constructed, beautiful red bike with a cool little bell. She loves being pushed on it. We love how low it is; it fosters a love of "riding" but she's safe without our hovering over her. The rubber smell from the tires is fading, too. We're really pleased with it and hope that it'll bring years of joy to our next child too!

Hi, my daughter is turning 2 in September, she is short for her age, but she really wants a trike. She pedals her v-tech ride/learn giraffe and envies all her friends' trikes, I really like the look of this one, but am afraid she won't be tall enough to reach the pedals- any tips? Thanks-

  • If you put the seat in the very 1st hole she should be fine.If that doesn't work add a couple of wooded blocks to the pedals.

  • I think so. You might need to set the seat closer up front.

  • We put blocks on my daughters first trike so she could reach the pedals. On the Schwin The seat is as close to the pedals as it can go and she reaches fine she is 33.5 inches tall. Hope this helps.

  • Buy it!! my 2 year old daughter is a little small as well. Didn't matter she just uses her feet on the ground thanks to the low seat height.

  • My 2 yr old daughter is 33" and she reaches the pedals...now, when pedaling she has to really point her foot when the pedal is at the furtherest point away from her, so she doesn't get a good grip on it to push it back down. It's manageable, though, and it won't be long before it's just right...

  • the seat is adjustable. I was not sure my grandaughter at 2 would fit but she did just fine. You can also get blocks for the peddles at about any store that sells bikes which makes her legs (if she is really short) fit to the peddles till she grows but is adjusts to a pretty short range already.
