Rated 5 out of 5 by Dougooza trick the charger!!! You may have to trick this charger by having a different 6 or 12 volts present at the time of connecting to the dead battery. Temporarily either (a) hook up another charger to the dead battery, or (b) jump start the dead battery...then connect this little charger up and disconnect the others.Since the charger tries to guess if you have a 6 or 12 volt battery, you have now given the charger the correct voltage that you want it to use. WORKS GREAT! 12/22/2012

I used to take my battery out of the motorcycle every winter and put it in the house, charge it once a month, but this battery maintainer makes things much easier. You hook up the ring terminal harness and then all you have to do is plug it in when needed. Well worth the $20. Better than buying a new battery from lack of maintaining it. Excellent for cars as well that don't get driven much. Lead batteries last longer if they maintain a full charge. This devise does exactly that! 11/27/2012

At large charge will smoke this little batteries so have been looking for a quality low amperage charger that is compact for a long time.Have had a couple that did not last. This one is a winner! Quality brand, good price, gread features and works good as a charge or maintainer.I am very pleased with this product. 11/26/2012

Purchasing this charger was an effort to make sure that my scooters always started with one kick or the push of a button, granted everything else was on point. Sure enough, I haven't been let down yet. No need to purchase the so called "original" battery maintainer, this one does exactly what it's suppose to. No frills whatsoever. Attach connectors to battery > Plug the charger into an outlet > when you see the green light, battery is charged. From what i understand this works on car batteries as well. Primo purchase indeed. 11/12/2012
