Rated 1 out of 5★ by Piece of Garbage I bought this for a road trip that was supposed to be 12 hours long and I thought it would work the whole trip so that I could watch movies on my laptop. This was supposed to produce about 100 watts and my laptop only uses 65 watts. This piece of garbage only worked for 4 hours, died, and never worked again. 04/13/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Two inverters for one. This little gadget has both AC/DC and USB option, which is nice. It's not completely silent though, and it took me a while to figure out were the sound was coming from. It can't be heard with the DVD player or radio on. 09/09/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great for small loads Bought this and took it camping. Used to run a laptop for DVDs for the kids. Kept our other devices charged (razor, phones, flashlights). Bought online for in same day pickup. Still haven't found on the shelves as it is half the price of the models (same watts) I see available. 10/13/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Only one quibble: Description states "...inverter shuts down automatically if the battery overheats or drains to cut-off voltage." Mine did not. I use it to power a GPS unit via 120v transformer plug when transplanted from motorcycle to my truck. Fortunately I tested this in my driveway at home. Over 2 days it drained my Sears Diehard battery down to the point where it would not start the truck without hooking up the charger. It did this twice! Perhaps this feature is deficient only on my unit, but I'd warn others to test it before depending on it. I'm now careful to unplug it when leaving the truck for more than a few minutes. Otherwise it works well. 03/11/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Product didn't meet my expectations I have two laptop computers (1 work and 1 play) and an iPhone. I purchased this item to power a laptop computer and iPhone during a 5 hour road trip (only one laptop at a time, not both). The laptop power supply requires 90 watts and 5 amps. The inverter is rated at 140 watts and 13 amps. The inverter malfunctioned after about an hour and a half. The laptop started cycling through a connected/disconnected icon indicating it wasn't getting enough current to properly charge the battery. Disconnecting and re-connecting the inverter didn't solve the issue. I tried all three connectors in a Chevy Suburban without success.I exchanged the product and tried to use it with the other laptop on the way home. The power supply for the second computer (from a different manufacturer) also requires 90 watts. The replacement inverter malfunctioned after about 4 hours of use; same symptoms. Both computer power supplies work properly under home power. This product may be a good choice for powering/recharging netbooks, mobile phones and tablets, but it's not good for laptops based on my experience. I'll be returning this unit for store credit and purchasing a more capable inverter.Kudos to Walmart Customer Service. The people in their Marble Falls, TX, store were very nice and allowed me to exchange the product during the trip, even though I didn't have my receipt. 04/22/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent Power Inverter I have had this unit for about 3 years now and even though it is old it still keeps my laptop (Adapter is rated for 65 watts) fully charged up.I have ran this thing for over 8 hours before and have not had it once shut down on me or drain my battery. 01/15/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Worked for Blow Up Mattress We used it for three nights of camping for blowing up our mattress (filled it up first night and had to add more air the next two nights). Had no problems with it working. Am nervous because of previous negative reviews that one of these camping trips we'll be left with no air in our mattress because it doesn't work anymore, but at least for one trip it did the job. 08/18/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Do not waste your money on this!!! my family were going on a trip so we picked this up to charge our phones and laptop while we were on the road. as soon as we plugged it in we could hear it making a noise. we plugged in my husband cell phone and the same day his battery to the phone would not work at all. we thought it was probably the phone. but once he put a new battery in the phone it was fine. On our way home my son charged his new samsung galaxy tablet, well same thing happened... killed both batteries. thankfully we were able to get refund for the tablet since it was only a couple days old, but i took that piece of junk right back to walmart to get our money back. i dont think it deserves one star, i would not recommend to anyone. 02/23/2013
