Rated 4 out of 5 by AlbuquerqueJack The XC103 has been used twice: The first time it was used to peak the charge on a 12V battery on a workbench in the garage. The second time it was used to peak a 90% charge on a double 12V battery setup on my RV in the back yard. It seemed to charge just fine but I found the led lights for the various control functions are totally invisible in outside daylight. They were not visible even when shading the control panel from direct sunlight with my hand, so I couldn't tell if I had the proper battery setting. I decided to wait until dusk before initiating the charge. The lights were then visible. I was a bit surprised that it took several hours to peak the charge to FULL from 90%.I would be happier with this charger if I could see how many amps were being put into the battery, but it only shows volts. 08/11/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by JRCO This is a very simple device to use, the lights are bright enough to see in sunlight. When the battery was fully charged it automatically switched to maintain mode (as its supposed to).Highly recommend it. 01/26/2013
