The LED indicator lights on the charger shows three status settings: charging, charged, and trouble. The Schumacher battery charger includes quick-disconnect harness for permanent attachment of ring connectors. The ring connectors work great for hard-to-reach motorcycle batteries. I told him it would take longer to charge a dead battery which sat all winter long. I put the charge back on the mower, and after the the weekend the mower started and has ever since. 05/08/2012
