Great price ! Great TV ! I was looking for a tv but didn't want to go crazy on price. After some research I knew I wanted a 46" LCD with 1080p and 120hz. Every other tv in this category was more expensive by at least $200.00. I was concerned about buying an unknown name brand but took a chance. The tv was everything that I hoped for! The picture quality is great. The sound is fine even though I planned on setting up surround sound anyway. In short, don't be afraid to take a chance on this tv. Not bad! I am pretty impressed with this panel. The screen itself is as impressive as any I've seen under a grand. As other reviews will say - the speakers are pretty low quality. Unless you just use a low volume I would suggest finding an alternative speaker setup. I also found an annoying high-pitched squeal coming from the back. Not really noticeable during use. If you are on a budget I would definitely suggest this TV! 04/12/2011
Just got mine in today, the tv is just simply amazing for the price which was my main concern. No high pitch sounds when off like others complained. Picture quality is just amazing custom settings works best for me. And as far as sound goes it is pretty good, i was expecting something really trashy after reading the reviews but I dont have any issues with that everything sounds crystal. Obviously that high pitched sound and sound problems mean that you received a defective piece and should get that replaced instead of posting a negative feedback. 07/10/2011
Good TV when it's on...Unbearable when it's off PROS-The picture quality is very good-Good value for the featuresCONS-Very heavy compared to other 46" TVs-Speakers are not very good - distort very easily-The HIGH PITCH WINING NOISE is a deal killer. No electronics should have a noise when OFF. It is absolutely unbearable.SUMMARYThe whine is obviously a wide spread issue and they have no intentions of fixing. This is the first off-brand tv purchase I've made, and if it wasn't for the whine, it would be a great deal. I knew going into it that the speaker quality wasn't great, but I underestimated the whine....I should have taken the reviews seriously.Both TVs are being returned.
