We love the TV for the price but the sound gets real loud and tinney and then it gets real quiet so we are changing the volume alot. The picture is nice and clear and we don't have it hooked up to HD connections or DVR. 02/12/2012
Good set except for the sound This set has a fair picture for the price. However, the sound is less than average. I had to buy a speaker system since tweeking the equalizer made the cabinet vibrate so bad I had to switch back to the tinny standard setting. I did buy the speaker system a Walmart, and I'm now pretty happy with the results. 02/12/2012
Good value The 32" Sceptre has performed flawlessly without making adjustments. I believe it has a Sony chassis and I'm partial to Sony color renditions. 02/12/2012
Good deal for the price. Due to the price and other reviews, I was skeptical about making this purchase. The deciding factor was the return policy offered by Wal-Mart.Having owned this TV for a few weeks, and I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised. The TV has many more features than what is mentioned in the item description. There are inputs for nearly any device that include composite video, S-video, HDMI, and VGA.I currently use this set as a computer monitor, as well as an additional TV. When used as a monitor, the resolution is great and rivals what I get from my main TV which is 1080P. When used as a TV, hooked to a standard Directv receiver through a S-video connection, the picture quality is not as good, but is still acceptable.Many of the reviews of this item were critical of the sound quality of the built-in speakers. In my opinion, the speakers are more than adequate. I do experience some popping sounds when I change to the HDMI input to usethe TV as a computer monitor, but this is remedied by using the computer speakers and turning down the sound on the TV.Overall, this is a great value for the price, and I am considering purchasing additional units. 02/11/2012
