fun, fun game This is one of my family's favorites. We play this often as it's apporiate for a wide range of ages. My particular favorite part of playing Scattergories is that we can be seated comfortably around the room to play and don't have to sit in close or around a table! 11/30/2009
Fun game, harder than it sounds We have played this game a few times. It is harder than you think it is going to be. It is a real challenge to complete your list in the time allotted. We have also been finding is that it is difficult to come up with unique answers for all of the categories. For example, the answer "Cat" might fit for Animals, Famous Females, Acronyms, and Things That Grow - but you can only use it once. We also found that the Challenging Answers part of the game does not go very smoothly. We just end up letting all the answers count. Classified as Adult, but we find that a pair of children working together can play as well (9 years old). We would definitely recommend the games Articulate and Articulate For Kids before we would recommend Scattergories. I guess it depends on how many games you want to invest in. 03/26/2010
Fun Game that makes you think! I grew up playing this game and am so glad it's still available. I just had to buy it for my kids. It really is a lot of fun for all ages. If your kids can write, they can play! Luv It! 12/03/2010
