Great product; very good price. I realize that it would more helpful to return to this product a year from now to truly provide a worth-while review, however, I would never remember. With that said, we purchased this chest to go in our living room to both house several of our daughter's toys and to provide additional seating when entertaining company.The chest is fairly solid (not being solid wood) and we appreciate the safety hinge that keeps the lid from closing on its own. My only complaint is that the narrow decorative piece that mounts below the storage area on the front was not fully pre-drilled for the pieces. You will certainly want to pre-drill these holes, otherwise the supplied screws will likely split the particle board layers when installing them. Also, if you do have to drill out the holes, be careful not to go all the way through the piece you're drilling (as I did on the first hole). Otherwise, you will not just have a small hole on the other side, but a splintered\chipped section as the bit (in my case) chipped off the white outer layer in a circular manner. 01/23/2012
Quality product for a good deal The assembly was not as easy as it seemed, but was OK. Nice color like described in the spec and is quite decent for that price. It is very sturdy for people to be able to sit on it. The only thing which was of little bit disappointment was that space was wasted because the bottom of the chest is raised in order to accomodate the decorative piece at the bottom. I would say about 5 inches is lost...no biggie, but for me that is extra storage space!! Overall a very good buy and happy with it. 05/18/2012
better price than amazon, look good, easy assembly found this by chance while searching some dresser. i've looked for the bench storage for a while but had never found anything better than this. good price, cheaper than amazon. look good and quality ok. and ikea doesn't have this. and assembly was also easy. just happy to get and set up this. now i can put my extra cushions and mats which were hard to store in the closet. 05/21/2012
