Nice looking desk, horribly made. We loved the look of this desk online. Once we received the box, we opened to find it dinged, nicked and cracked all over the place. It is cheap quality and the shipping people mishandled it in transit. We took it back to the store, got our money back and are looking for a GOOD QUALITY desk. 03/12/2012
Good Value but edges are too sharp If I could give it 3 and 1/2 stars I would. I had it shipped to store for free and that was painless. I had read reviews about the product arriving damaged (I think Wal-Mart may have reset the reviews) but was pleasantly surprised that the box had reinforced cardboard all around it so no damage. The desk part was easy to put together, the drawers were a little harder. As a matter of fact, I did something wrong putting the drawers together (I'd give the directions a C+# and had to order a replacement from the Sauder website which was easy to do and arrived in a timely manner. I have bought other Sauder products before and they always were sturdy when put together and this desk is no exception. The problem I have always had with Sauder is that almost all of their designs are taken from the Early Caveman period. The desk looks nice but the issue I have with this desk is the edge of the desk where your forearms rest is really sharp. I had to get a padded wrist rest so that the desk wouldn't leave marks on my arms. They should've softened the edges somehow #again Early Caveman). Not bad for the price but I wouldn't buy another one. 02/19/2012
