I chose this after reading some other reviews. It was a great look for the cost. I didn't believe it would take as many hours to put together as it did. Using the correct tools really helps, if you have a second pair of hands use them. I like this so much that I ordered the tiers after I finished putting together. The stand says 47", but I love the way my 50" looks.

Just wonderful

The finished product is beautiful!
Fedex did a terrible job delivering it in good condition. The box was really heavy, so I guess they didn't take good care of it, and both the bottom and top pieces had big gouges, and some scratches on them. I didn't return the pieces though, since I was anxious to put it together and start using it. The bad spot on top, is hidden by the tv it self, and the spot on the bottom is in the back, so you can't see it.
It also took me six hours to get it all put together. My husband helped me put the hinges on the doors, when he came home, and you really need a second person for this part, or strong hands, to get the screws in, so if you don't have help, it is going to be a real project.
Directions were easy enough to figure out, it was just a lot of labor! Keep the picture near by, when it comes to the decorative pieces, I had to refer to the picture to make sure I put them on correctly.
I just love the finished project, so that is why I gave it a high rating. It does look good, was a good value, and meets my expectations, it was just getting to the finish project that was rough!

When I purchased this item for a mere $99.00 (with free "Ship to Store" delivery and easy pick up) I expected a lesser quality product. What a great surprise that the TV stand was a beautiful deep cherry color, was heavy and substantial and had really nice details (moldings, door pulls, etc.) The bonus was that my 8 year old son and I had a wonderful time assembling it together. The directions were easy, detailed, including clear illustrations, and resulted in a lovely new piece of furniture that he can be proud that he helped create. Thank you!!

Exceeded expectations!

This stand is really nice with a deep Cherry color. I was very impressed with the appearance and the weight of the wood...nice and solid. It took me 8 hours to put it together by myself. The only issue I had with this set was the fact that the nails and screws were not in separate packs with letters and numbers. Also some of the wood was not labelled but it wasn't complicated to figure out where the pieces went because of the excellent instructions and guides.

Once I was done putting the stand together, I was soooo impressed with the appearance, design, look, and overall durance of the stand. I really love it! Well done Sauder! This is a must have if you have a nice 42"-47" TV. It looks so nice in my Den!
