VERY creamy white This is a nice bookshelf, but it is a much more pinkish, creamy color than white. I was happy to hear another reviewer say it was more of a cream color than white as my daughters other furniture is an off-white. This is much darker and has a bit of a pink hugh. It's not unattractive, but looks a bit dirty next to whiter furniture. 08/19/2009
Good Item for the Price This product is very nice and sturdy for the cost. It is very heavy, so make sure you have help to carry it. It only took about 1-1/2 to 2 hrs to put together (I work slowly) and we were only missing one screw (had a comparable one at home that we used). I was, however, disappointed in the color though. We ordered it thinking it was a true "bright white" to match my daughter's furniture; however, it's more of an "antique white" that looks like it's been washed out (or like it needs another coat of paint). They should change the color to be more accurate. Otherwise, this is a good product. 02/26/2011
great value This is a great product for the price! Assembly was not overly difficult and it looks very nice. The unit is very sturdy and exceeded our expectations in how solid it was. No complaints at all.We will likely be purchasing another similar unit for a different room in our home. 01/28/2011
AWFUL!! The thing is SO cheap. It crumbles. Several pieces were broke upon arrival. The chunks of "wood" that it's made of literally just crumbles apart. The layer of cardboard on the top is so thin and peels, chips, etc. We had to take it back. :( 11/18/2010
