Looks more expensive than it is! Overall I would definitely recommend buying this armoire. Putting it together was actually pretty easy. Think it took us around 3 hours. There was only one dinged spot and that was inside the cabinet where the TV goes. My only complaint came at the very end of assembly. Neither set of doors line up exactly right. It isn't that noticeable thank goodness, but that's what kept me from giving the armoire five stars. Bottom line is it looks great-------love it!!!!! 06/13/2009
Great Product I've only had this for about 3 weeks so far but it's great. First, it is really heavy!!! You will need someone to help you pick it up from the store. Having said that I was able to put it together by myself (not trying to stereotype but I am a 26 year old female if that puts things into better perspective). Once I got the thing in my place I was able to pull the pieces out and scoot them around fairly easily. Second, assembling it was a very easy process. Make sure you read through the directions... they're thorough for a reason. There are a lot of opportunities to do things wrong/backwards/upside down. But, if you pay attention to the directions the entertainment center should come together just fine. The one thing that frustrated me was hanging the doors. It took me about an hour to get them to hang completely level and as soon as I moved it they were tweaked again. Oh well, I guess that's one of the things you sign up for when deciding to buy furniture you have to build your self. Lastly, It looks really nice, dark brown with some faux distressing that looks good. I'll probably switch out the handles for something a little nicer. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it. 08/30/2008
Beautiful! This TV cabinet is fantastic and well worth every dollar! It looks more high quality than the photo displayed, it’s extremely sturdy, and fulfilled every requirement admirably. Don’t get flustered by the assembly, just take your time and pull everything out and assemble it in your head first, the directions are adequate but a few more details would have been nice. Overall, I wish there were more pieces to go with this, I love it! 10/19/2009
Looks more expensive that it is This was product was a good value. The other armoires I looked at (online, but not at Wal-Mart) were much more expensive and I couldn't find a finish that would go with my mix of modern and antique furniture. I put this together by myself with no trouble (and though I am very handy, this is a heavy piece and I am a small female). I did have some help lifting it upright and into position once it was built. The only difference I can really see between it and more expensive pieces is that the upper back is that cardboard type stuff and not wood, but you can't tell once it is together and it is VERY sturdy. The only thing I don't like about it is that the rear "feet" are not the bun feet that are on the front, but I could tell that from the pictures before I bought it. I also bought metal drawer pulls for the doors instead of using the wooden ones that come with the unit. When I first unpacked it, I thought the finish looked cheap, but it actually looks really good once it is together. It certainly looks much more expensive that it was. I was very pleased with this purchase. 12/27/2008
