servicable furniture for the purpose Overall I am pleased with this product. I expected to spend hours putting it together...actually hired a man to help. All the pieces fit perfectly; engineered well. My only complaint is the color was specified as "oiled oak". Next to my other oak cabinets, the color is very dark.....almost walnut. And the piece is very heavy......135 lbs for pickup. Guess that's why it's so substantial. But it does hold me new tv....as advertised. 03/04/2012

This Sauder August Hill Entertainment Credenza for TVs up to 57" are TOO COMPLICATED TO ASSEMBLE. There are way too many pieces to put together and it takes a long time to assemble.For the price we paid for this there should be an easier way to assemble this without all this hard work. We will never purchase this or recommend this product to anybody else. 04/15/2012
A masculine, solid, and well designed unit Plan on a time consuming assembly process but the instructions are very clear. When you finish assembling you'll end up with a handsome and very sturdy unit. The shelving and cabinet layout is ideal for all the all the TV accessories, cable box, Xbox, dvd player, dvd's, and more. I was so satisfied I immediately ordered the matching wall unit. 05/13/2012
