An essential small appliance in my kitchen I use this steamer for all kinds of vegetables at least two out of three meals every day, 7 days per week. I love the flavor of the vegetables, the nutrient value of the vegetables, and the ability to cook several different vegetables at one time. I would recommend this product to everyone and have done so already. 02/23/2010
Steam shoots out of the blowhole! Not totally obvious how much water to rice to add...But the biggest drawback for me which I have 't figured out how to stop is that when the rice is steaming and the water bubbling, it spits out of the hole in the lid onto my counter and floor - I don't like having to clean up this mess and haven't figured out how to stop this action. 01/03/2011
An excellent buy and a reputed company The new Sanyo rice cooker replaces the old Sanyo rice cooker which has given me excellent service over the last 12 years. The new appliance has all the features of the old one but it also has a vegetable steamer and a teflon coated inner cooking-pot. I normally cook eight cups of rice at a time and thats all done in roughly 18 to 20 minutes.I am very pleased with the performance of the new rice cooker. The older one is now doing good service in a friend's kitchen. 01/14/2012
