Fantastic It does what it say. Love it. I have it for about 2 weeks and I plan using it a couple times per week. When the weather turn too hot, I cook outside and I have no problem with it. 03/11/2009
great replacement hot pot! We bought this pot specifically for hot pot, we haven't used the grill. We had a great hot pot from Zojirushi, but it died and we couldn't find a replacement cord. That said Zojirushi doesn't make a pot of this quality in this price range...Now, I'm a convert. This Sanyo pot heats up and delivers. PLUS, it has a VIP safety feature:a magnetic cord attachment. Why is this helpful?? When your 3 y.o. doesn't heed your commands to walk around the cord and walks thru it instead, the cord comes out of the pot's socket w/out pulling the pot of boiling water w/it!! And to all of the folks who are freaked out by the lead in the cord...the wires are insulated with the rubber coating. Your hands are not in direct contact with the lead. Most mixed metals have a certain amount of lead in them, including jewelry metals. 01/04/2012
I love this cooker! I was replacing an old crock pot that died after 30 years! I couldn't find a style that I liked until I came across this one. I had no idea how versatile this cooker would be. I thought I would use it once a month.....I use this at least twice a week. I use it as a fry pan, dutch oven, slow cooker, rice cooker... and on and on. Good-to-go It does what it says it will do.The totally non stick surface is great.If your looking for something that can do much more then just slow cook...this is it.Heat control is very good.Does perfect pancakes.Had my first home grilled T bone steak, good stuff. 05/07/2009
