excellent value for price i purchased this in store just looking for a home theater system for music, but found this which has a blu ray player and it caught my eye. It didnt show the watts on the box or in but my guess is between 1000 and 1200. Speakers have amazing quality, more than expected, and can play very loud. The bluray player is very nice with my new 1080p tv. the box has a nice feature where you can plug in an ipod or in my case a flashdrive which you can download a music playlist to and play through the speakers. overall amazing buy for the price. 10/05/2011
LOTS OF COOL FEATURES - NOT GREAT SOUNDING THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOT OF COOL FEATURES. THE INTERNET STREAMING KEPT STOPING TO DOWNLOAD ON MY INTERNET CONNECTION 1MB /SEC , NOT SURE IF MY CONNECTION IS TOO SLOW OR THE BUFFERING IS NOT SO GOOD ON THIS UNIT.THE BIGGEST DRAWBACK TO THIS UNIT IS THE SOUND QUALITY IS NOT VERY GOOD. THE SUBWOOFER SEEMS WEAK, AND THE SURROUND IS AVERAGE. IT DOES NOT SOUND AS GOOD AS THE OLD SAMSUNG UNIT THAT I HAVE (WHICH IS 1000W , SAME PRICE RANGE WHEN I BOUGHT IT.) I THINK THEY PUT A LOT OF COOL FEATURES ON THIS UNIT AND NEGLECTED THE SOUND QUALITY AS A RESULT. I WILL PROBABLY RETURN THIS UNIT BECAUSE OF SOUND QUALITY, AFTER ALL WHATS ALL THE FEATURES WORTH IF THE SOUND QUALITY IS NOT GOOD. 11/27/2011
Great system for price, but NOT WiFi ready! This system is NOT WiFi ready...it is WiFi capable! This means that it will not connect to WiFi out of the box! It requires the Samsung LinkStick USB adapter which costs ~$60 and, yes it MUST be the Samsung LinkStick!I purchased this system for $188 last week and it was a tremendous improvement over my old Venturer surround sound system. The sound quality is great, the remote that works from across the house, and it has plenty of cool features such as Sleep Timer and FM Tuner. I would definitely recommend this system, but not for $245...unless it comes with the LinkStick adapter. 11/29/2011
Very good system.. Hook it up to a big screen 1080p, and the picture and soundis loud and clear. I place the speakers on the stands frontand back and it fills the room like a theater. The subwooferFills the room as well and the blu ray is clear and sharp.I didn't expect this much performance at this price. But I'mglad it's in my living room. 11/28/2011
