Very happy with this mattress!! It has been 11 years since I last had a child of crib age. Needless to say, there is a lot that has changed since then...especially mattresses! I did a TON of research trying to find the perfect mattress for my little one, without spending a fortune. I researched almost every mattress sold at BRU, Target, Walmart, etc. After measuring the crib several times & reading countless reviews, I decided to go with this one. The size sounded right, & I really liked the fact that it could grow with my little one & be used in his toddler bed (his crib converts). I received the mattress a couple of days before the earliest estimated arrival date. While it is not significant, I can tell a difference b/w the Infant side & the Toddler side. Some of the mattresses I looked at in stores said 'very firm', but in fact were way too soft to be safe for an infant. This mattress however, truly is a firm mattress! It fits perfectly into my son's crib, with no gaps, & is nice & firm! I feel very safe with him on this mattress, & he sleeps wonderfully on it, so it must be comfortable too! Excellent mattress for long term usage I researched crib mattresses for several weeks before deciding on this one.I think the ability for the matress to grow with baby is great- a baby isnt going to put much weight on a mattress like an adult, so will not cause sagging or a reason that the mattress cannot be used longer.The infant side is plenty firm enough (much firmer than another more expensive mattress I was considering) and the toddler side has enough cushion to feel firm but not like they're sleeping on a rock.I really like the fabric cover of this mattress- it is not brittle noisy plastic like cheap mattresses. 11/20/2010
Best pick/best price The mattress was light enough for me to upstairs. You can feel the difference between the two sides. The covering isnt plastic or laminate so thats a plus for me, unless yoiu have a baby who wets the bed alot then i would get a liner. Other than that it was exactly what i expected and I love it. 12/04/2009
good mattress This mattress is great especially since it is two sided, the firm side is great for infant support and the opposite side is great for a more comfortable feel for toddlers. It is also very good quality for the price. 01/30/2010
