No and Yes. You need something for the strap to wrap around. I used it for my center seat because the back pulls out so I looped around the fabric handle. If you have something you can secure it to, half to the attaching apparatus is lined with moldable wire so you can adjust the angle as needed. The mirror way wiggle around a bit, but it can be done. (However you may want to spend the money and get a fancy mirror that you can mount on a side seat that allows you to angle to mirror so you can see you baby like the Britax Backseat Mirror)

If your seat has a tether system behind it; then yes, you can still attach this mirror to a seat without a headrest. The mirror strap goes to the car's tether clip and then you would bend the moldable portion of the mirror over the back of the car seat to get the right angle.

This is late, but yes it has instructions for four different installation methods, including no headrest.

It says you can, but I tried the instructions it gave &amp; nothing worked. I would not recommend!

Can i use this mirror if my back seat does not have any headrests to strap to?

I had the same problem - someone answered it on amazon. There is a thin plastic layer on the mirror and the sticker is attached to that. Take off the plastic layer and sticker comes off with it.

You don&#39;t remove the sticker! You remove the plastic film that is part of the packaging!

how can you get all the adhesive from the sticker off the safefit mirror, I have tried everything

Probably not. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee without a headrest in the middle and the packaging says that you can call for a tether to use in this instance. I&#39;ve called twice about getting a tether and was told they have been out of stock since last summer.

I ordered a second one for my car for my two granddaughters. I didn't want to spend a lot since they will outgrow at some point. I am not the full time babysitter but I am the full time Nawna that likes to have my own car seats!

purchased this mirror for my car so I did not have to continue to borrow my daughter-in-law's for the grand-daughter. Love the mirror, well constructed and larger than anticipated. easy to adjust and provides quality sight lines.

Highly recommend this mirror

I love that now I can see my son in the backseat except the sticker that comes on the mirror doesn't come off so easily and it obstructs my view. I tried pulling it off but it just leaves residue. unfortunately it is in the center of the mirror. Not such a good product for a mom on the go.

my car is 21yrs old. the passenger front seat visor mirror came out 
and I couldnt reseat it to glue it.
  So i saw this mirror and decided to try it. its quite large and fits over  the visor. Right now its a bit loose and i need to tinker around with it, cinch up the  strap and make it tight. But this is NOT a lexus and all.i needed is a mirror to cover the hole in the visor the OEM mirror left.
Plus the price was right and my Wal-Mart had it in another facility nearby so it arrived quickly.
If you have little kids as passengers,  I think this world be a good addition .

pretty much works

A good mirror, but it doesn't stay in place well in the car. If it didn't move while driving, it would be really good, but it moves, and then you can't see the baby in the car seat exactly how you wanted to.

not crazy about this product. have to leave the strap loose to angle it towards baby so we can see him, but with car vibrations it ends up moving during the ride and we cant see him. wish the strap could be tightened and the mirror itself adjusted.

this is an okay product

shattered in 2 different places. Not sturdy or would I lefly my baby touch it. Very disappointed.

Glass broken in 2 places

They put a sticker right in middle of the mirror. Trying to pull it off and rips and leaves glue and paper residue that can't be removed without damaging mirror.. Don't understand why they would place a unpeelable sticker on a mirror.:-(
