The color is quite different in various light and sometimes even looks on the taupe side. However, it is perfect for our room. 12/20/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by sailormoon11 very unique rug This rug is silky soft. It is a silvery gray color. The backing is made very well but it is not machine washable. I found it online through another store for $162.00. Walmart's price was very reasonable compared to that price. 11/23/2012
