Rust-Oleum Automotive Acetone-248667, Quart: Is the strongest and fastest-evaporating solvent available. It is recommended for thinning many types of epoxy and fiberglass resins. It will soften plastic, plexiglass, linoleum, latex paint, synthetic fabrics, asphalt and tar. It can be used as a special purpose thinner, cleaner and remover. It is not recommended for most conventional oil-based paints, stains, varnishes or lacquers. Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area.

The product is Acetone, which I will use to thin Rust-Oleum paint. Hard to write a book about paint thinner.

TO SPRAY BRUSHABLE RUSTOLEUM PAINT

Product worked well. Cleaned and quickly dried a sanded metal. Safety cap is a real pain.

When it comes to the name of "Rust Oleum", you can't go wrong with there products.

Trusted Brand

The can looks like it was in someone's shop for a while with a streak of spray paint and a lot of dust and residue. My husband and I tried multiple times to open the can to no avail. I won't be purchasing the product again and will return it, unfortunately.

Dirty shipment, couldn't open can

Heed the bad reviews. By the time I got this, the cap was not screwed on tight and half the product had leaked all over the packaging. Did not look like a new item at all. Why wouldn't the cap be on tight? Perhaps because it was a used item??? DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER!
