Can this paint be sprayed on with paint gun?

Prepped and painted a spoiler with this been out in the weather over a year now still looks like I painted it yesterday, paint came out smooth and covered great. All I can say is thanks Rust-oleum for this great spray paint. Saved me time and money

Long lasting

The Apple Red Color of this Rust-Oleum Accents Ultra Cover 2x spray paint is simply beautiful. Goes on smoothly onto primed epoxy resin items.

It covered really well. I bought some .99 cent spray paint had to redo got this and it was excellent.

I've used this on plywood, metal and plastic and the coverage is phenomenal on all of these surfaces.  It covers so well that you rarely need a second coat on metal or plastic... raw plywood, maybe two or three passes but most other spray paints will not coat raw plywood without some type of primer.  2x Ultra Cover is the only spray paint I buy now.

I just had a new patio cover installed on the back side of my home.  Afterwards, all of my wrought iron patio furniture looked ugly...partly because it had been exposed to the elements for a couple of seasons.   I didn't want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to buy new patio furniture.  It looked awful, and I hated it!   So, I purchased a dozen cans of black  Rust-Oleum American Accents Ultra Cover 2x with a high, glossy, satin finish.  It went on easy and dried quickly. I was totally amazed how beautiful my patio furniture turned out. It all looks brand new, and I fell in love with it all over again! Spending less than $50 and investing a couple of hours of time saved me over a thousand dollars in new patio furniture.

I used this paint on my son's 4 wheeler plastic bodywork. It did fantastic. I would definitely use this paint again. Don't let those couple of poor reviews deter you from trying this paint. When it comes to painting anything, prep is key. My guess is those who had bad results with this paint did not properly prep their surface before painting. Poor prep = Poor results. Also, as it states on the can, priming with Rust-Oleum's American Accents 2x Ultra primer will help the top finish coat bond even better. I primed then painted my project as directed and I am completely satisfied with the results.

Double Cover

I used this product to repaint some furniture. We used the rust-Oleum primer under it. Each time a new can was started the pain came out with a lot of texture - as opposed to the very clean smooth finish I got from the middle and end of the can. I would recommend spraying it on something else until the chunkyness subsides. This happened with 2 cans.

I needed some gray paint for a piece of plastic trim I had resurfaced. I found this color was a good match and it said it could be used on plastic. I followed the instructions on the can (shake for 1 minute) and was rewarded with perhaps 5 seconds of paint, then nothing. I tried a different nozzle from a working can of Rust-Oleum I had and still nothing.

Thinking it was just this can, I bought a second can at a different Walmart. Even tested it prior to purchase and it sprayed OK. Got it home and another 5 seconds of spray and the same thing. I found the lot numbers (X62272) were the same on both cans. What appeared to be a time stamp (2056 and 2121) indicated they were stamped within 25 minutes of each other. I had also purchased a can of Rust-Oleum semi-gloss black with the first one and it worked fine. Based upon the evidence, I think this was a bad batch. 

I've used Rust-Oleum in the past, and have even painted two cars with it using a roller. I paid extra for a name brand and was very disappointed. Reading reviews on other sites for 2016, I see I'm not alone for this problem with Rust-Oleum paint. Rust-Oleum needs to up their quality control. I will return these, get my money back, and try another brand.

Two cans from different stores, same problem

After just a few seconds of spraying a project, the can clogged up. I tried turpentine and a wire brush, taking off the cap, soaking it.  Nothing works.  I guess I got about 1/10th the contents out of it.  What a waste.
