Rated 2 out of 5★ by gneubma Nice utilitarian fishing rod rack I really liked the utilitarian look. I liked how the pine was carved to give it a rustic cabin-like feel. The hangers leave a bit to be desired. The mollies were lousy. They pulled right out of the wall when I hung the rod rack, and no, I didnt drill the holes in the sheetrock too large. The mollies just didnt have any cleets to dig into the sheetrock to make them secure.Once I used my own mollies, got the rod rack hung, then I had issues of getting the rack level. When hung on the wall, it hung forward due to the brackets on the back and the fact that the board on the back wasnt cut flat. I had to shim up the upper and lower rod rack to make them level.I dont think the "keyholes" in the bracket were cut deep enough to really make the rack secure on the wall. A better design would have been to drill holes through the front of the rack, making it part of the design. I am still considering doing that myself if I still feel the rack is not secure enough.I guess you get what you pay for. I was looking for something with a minimal look, a vintage look, at a low price. I got what I wanted but wish hanging it werent such a pain. 02/21/2013
