Rated 2 out of 5 by 007Reviews Returned them... I buy the recycle Ruffies bags non-stop so I expected these to be a great product as well. I was not a fan when I opened the bag and had difficulty figuring out the way to get them apart to begin with. I felt like I was at the grocery store register when you can't get the bags to split apart so you say forget it and just get two bags and throw them in the next bag that split apart.Although the bag did not tear when we used them, they wouldn't stay in the garbage can either. Each time you went to toss something into the garbage you were fighting to keep the keep the bag in the garbage or fish it out of something you tossed out earlier hoping it wasn't too gross by then. Maybe if I had an elastic string to wrap around the barrel of the trash can, but who wants to waste time dealing with that??? 04/21/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by linuxrocks I thought these were great until I ran into a bad batch where all the bottom and sides were open when you took them off the roll. 3/4 of the bags were bad. 02/02/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by beautyineyeofbeholder Too thin Bag has same thin quality of grocery-store bags. Tears easily and is too stretchy.I like the Ruffies brand because I equate the tough plastic with its value. So this was an unexpected lower quality product.Perhaps I just happened upon the wrong formulation of "wing tie" bag.Previously, my bags were tough, without stretching. Can liner quality, but tougher. That was a very good product. This is not what I was seeking.Durability of former versions or other formultation of this bag was/is superior to the current product I purchased.I am returning the 84 bag/ 13 gal wing-tie product, despite it's very low price per bag. I would have to use two to get the job done. I use it mostly in the kitchen but also the bathroom. This thickness would "maybe" work for smallest bathroom bags size. Not for 13 gallon. 03/31/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by pretensed Good bags for an affordable price! I've been using the ruffies for years. They are reasonably priced and I consider them to be of good quality. I have no problem getting them apart. One stated they I had to say something due to the negative reviews. don't stay in the can. Well, then one should get the bags that do fit. I have a 6 gal trash can in my kitchen and I buy the 13 gallon bags. Never had a problem with them. When it says: "Fits UP TO 13 gallon cans." Common sense says it fits cans below 13 gallons. Does not fit the 13 gallon cans. If one had an 11 gallon can, no problem. When my kids were at home and I used a 13 gallon can, I bought the bigger bags. While the ruffies may not be as thick as the higher dollar bags, they will hold normal everyday trash. Any bag will break if you over fill it or put sharp objects in them, unless of course, it's a contractors bag. 05/01/2012
