Rated 1 out of 5★ by StudioCreations It had potential, then Rubies used cheap packaging I have this love-hate-hate releationship with Rubies Costumes. They have this ability and power to get their hands on cool franchise licenses, and then they proceed make weak products.Case in point is this Pacific Rim CHERNO ALPHA costume.Wholly mackeral... CHERNO ALPHA got it's own costume!!!! First year the movie is out too!!!! Some art director over at Rubies must have loved the steampunk feel of the movie character and convinced the management to produce the costume. AWESOME!!!!Then the money men came in and decided to make the main body of the costume out of stretchy cloth... they did ensure that the printing on the bodysuit was fairly accurate looking though, so i can't be too mad. IT'S A CHERNO ALPHA COSTUME... be happy that you got it, right?!?Next up is the mask/helmet... In the photo it look like it might be a wrap around helmet.... but, this is Rubies, and they love to take photos from only one exact angle and never show you that it's just a curved face mask.... So, let's see... YEP... It's just the front half of a face mask, not a helmet. Oh well, beggers can't be choosers... IT"S A CHERNO ALPHA COSTUME BE HAPPY YOU GOT IT!!!!But this is the thing... I didn't get it.. It was damaged... CRUSHED!!!!! Totally unwearable.Rubies , in the fantastic cheap business model that they run, put time and energy into making a costume for an obscure character, and they stuff the thing into a plastic bag. Then they stuff a baJillion of these bags into one box and therefore CRUSHED the flimsy plastic facemask: losing that cool curved shape, and cracking/destroying the plastic in the process.RUBIES FAILS THE KIDS ONCE AGAIN!!!!!Thanks, Rubies. :\ 11/21/2013
