Rated 4 out of 5 by Skylane Setup well Product setup relatively easy... It took about 1 1/2 hours and is better with two people. I was a little disappointed because it seems a bit flimsy... But we'll see how it holds up to the weather. 04/28/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by nyc12345 original Slide Lid Shed a better product was looking for a small shed to mainly store 2 bike + bike racks during winter times, local big box store had the original Slide Lid Shed on display, which I played with a few times, liked and decided to purchase, but when I pick it up, it's a "New" Slide Lid Shed, which I thought would mean a better product, so I hauled it home and started working on it, and here's what I've foundoriginal Slide Lid Shed - thicker plastic, bigger pieces#fewer parts#, roof in 2 pieces, 1hr assembly, feels sturdy and built to last.New Slide Lid Shed - thinner plastic than the original, smaller pieces#that in turn requires a lot more screws, about 100 of them, and that also means longer assembly time#, #these platics are so thin that when you screw them together, they don't feel very secure/sturdy# roof in 4 pieces and requires metal support beams, that takes away 2-3 inches of usable height of the actual space inside the shed.It feels like the design took a step backward, uses cheaper material, less sturdy and longer assembly time, I trust the Rubbermaid brand, but this one feels like they just find a cheaper way to produce it rather than improve it, I am disappointed with this new Slide Lid Shed, if you can get the original, get it, a much better product. 04/25/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by mariab perfect fit This shed fits nicely in a corner under my deck. Great for my lawnmower and wheel-barrel and other gardening tools. I like the low height because the shed is relatively unobtrusive. with the slide-back roof, I can easily store and reach items in the back. I plan to install shelving on the supplied hooks on the back wall.I did not secure the doors last week, and a strong wind blew back the left front door. The top holding bracket snapped. I've just ordered a new one. the reinstall will require hanging the door, mounting the bracket with 2 screws to secure. Now I will be sure to secure the doors closed with a chain hook.It was an easy 2 person assembly, and will be a quick repair. This is a sturdy shed, and, unlike other models, does not have to be bolted to a floor. I have it set on level patio blocks on a packed sand/soil base. 03/29/2012
