Rated 5 out of 5 Great Starter Gun
I bought this gn for my 8 yr. old. He loves it. The grip was a little tricky on one of the barrels but after the first barrel change its a snap just new threads. Now my son changes barrels himself.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Crayfish12 Grip does not fit on 22 barrel......
The forearm grip does not line up on the barrel. Should of tried it out in the store since there is no return or exchange policy on guns. Hope the Rossi will resolve this. Really wanted to use the gun the day I bought it............
Rated 4 out of 5 by Usefulinformation I'm a 67year old avid hunter and got this gun to hunt grouse. It's great. I did have to buy a slip on recoil pad to extend the length of the stock to fit me. The only down side to this firearm is the 410 shot pattern hits six to eight inches below point of aim. I'll correct this by installing a red dot sight. This is a great first gun for a kid but I would recommend installing a slip on recoil pad to dampen down the kick of a 410 shell. Too much recoil at an early age will make that future sportsman gun shy.
Rated 5 out of 5 by LoveMyWifeAndBoys Wonderful starter gun for a child.
I bought this gun for my 2 young sons.
Pros: This is a great gun to teach basic firearm fundamentals. It allows you to safely teach firearm safety and the use of rifles and shotguns. The high viability sights are nice on the rifle; the bead sight is what you would expect on a shotgun. This gun is not exclusive to kids. Broken down it is about two and a half feet long and comes with a nice carry case. If you would like a very light weight small game hunting firearm, this is well worth the money.
Cons: If you load a 3" .410 round you can expect a mule kick (even from a dove load).
In short, this is affordable and well worth the money.
