Movie Description

The following content was provided by the publisher.

Brimming with anthropomorphic social satire and offbeat humor, "Rocko's Modern Life" follows the misadventures of Australian wallaby named Rocko, who encounters various dilemmas and situations regarding otherwise mundane aspects of life. His best friend, Heffer, is a fat and enthusiastic cow, while his other friend, Filburt, is an easily upset turtle who often feels uncomfortable or disturbed. Ed Bighead lives next door to Rocko and detests him. These folks live in a bizarre district known as O-Town, and most of the episodes revolve around Rocko trying to cope with the absurdities and dilemmas he encounters in life. Episodes include: "Carnival Knowledge" - Rocko and Heffer go to a carnival and learn the secret to winning a carnival game; "Sand in Your Navel" - Rocko and Spunky cool off on a hot summer day by spending a nice relaxing day at the beach; "Sucker for the Suck-o-Matic" - Rocko gets suckered into buying a super-duper vacuum cleaner in an effort to clean his house; "Canned" - Rocko loses his job at the comic store and must find a new one; "Rocko's Happy Sack" - Rocko and Spunky run to the local grocery store to take advantage of a big sale; "Flu-In-U-Enza" - Rocko gets the flu and must get cured before the big wrestling match the next night; "Who's For Dinner" - Heffer invites Rocko to have dinner with his family; "Love Spanked" - Rocko appears on a dating show; "Clean Lovin'" - Spunky develops an unhealthy crush on Rocko's mop; "Unbalanced Load" - Rocko learns that laundry day can be very dangerous; "Leap Frogs" - Mrs. Bighead tries to win Rocko's affection; "Bedfellows" - Heffer moves in with Rocko; and more.

Rated 4.8 out of 5★ by 4reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Cant beat 90's Nickelodeon shows! Nicks greatest Era!!! I was surprised to hear that they'll be releasing Rockos Modern Life, CatDog, Hey Arnold, The Wild Thornberrys, Ahhhhh! Real Monsters, The Angry Beavers & Danny Phantom on Dvd. I'll def. be buying all of them. Hopefully they'll release more seasons soon. Anyways, back to Rocko. This Season 1 dvd set is awesome! Just seeing Rocko, Spunky, Heff, Mr. BigHead & Filburt on the cover made my day. If you're a fan, be sure to buy this dvd set! (And the rest of the Nick shows, so they'll release more shows/seasons :P) 06/21/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Funny Cartoon I remember when I was a kid, I loved this cartoon and was excited to see it out on dvd. The price was excellent and meets all expectations. 09/21/2011
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Brings Back Memories. This is one of the best 90's cartoons. The price is very reasonable also. 03/24/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Edited version >:( It's great that Nickelodeon finally released at least one season on DVD however I wish they would've left the Cartoons as is instead of editing them >:( . Even the opening titles on some of the episodes are edited. Seriously, what was so offensive about the opening titles? The price in stores is a bit steep just for 13 episodes especially considering there's no special features or deleted scenes. 08/04/2011
