Rockford Series Two-Step Stool, Mahogany 4.4 5 9 12
Impractical Step Stool I bought this because I needed a step stool but I wanted one that would look pretty in the kitchen. This one DOES look pretty but it is quite impractical. First of all it is HEAVY and cumbersome to move around. It is difficult to open and close. It is challenging to use. Althought the steps are plenty wide, they over hang each other so much that you can barely put your foot on it and the bar across the top comes across your shins preventing your feet from getting completely on the top step as well. The stool is not very tall and I often end up grabbing a chair or a bar stool anyway. This step stool has now been repurposed as a two tier plant stand. 09/27/2010

Look of fine furniture When appearances matter, this ladder can easily remain in full view in any room. Though somewhat heavier than a similar metal one, it is extremely sturdy, with ease of opening/closing. I use it in a large master closet designed with furniture style built-ins. Would be perfect in a kitchen. 06/14/2010
Very Heavy I bought this for my mom and she was thrilled with the way it looks but it is too heavy for her to move around. Also, she says when you pick it up it flops open, making it even more difficult to move around. 05/17/2010
