How do you roll these eye shadows up to use the whole stick? Neither end rotates.

No you are not just purchasing the tip and yes it can be sharpened. You can not use a regular sharpener.  You will need a jumbo eye pencil sharpener.  Rimmel does not make one but other drugstore brands have them and they are super cheap.

I realized that if you look at your sharpener, there is an insert in one of the holes that can be removed, making that hole large enough to sharpen this eye pencil.  It frustrated me for a long time wondering how people were sharpening these.

Am I buying just a tip or can it be sharpened and how?????

Yes but regular eye pencil sharpeners will not work. I found one that works perfectly. Get the Grindhouse one by Urban Decay..... Can buy these at Ulta cosmetic stores or search online for Grindhouse eye pencil sharpener. Works great!

I love all the Google products I use many of them daily! BB cream matte medium is my absolute favorite! Scandalous eyes eyeshadow stick bad girl bronze is the absolute best. I use it for eyeliner and eyeshadow! I used several of the lip glosses, and I recommend them to everyone! I love Rimmel!

These eye shadow sticks are excellent for older eyelids. Despite the sparkle, it does not show the wrinkled skin on my lids. The product is very creamy, doesn't dry out like some making it my eyes look more wrinkled, but still stays put all day. And it's so easy to use when you're in a hurry. I haven't had any troubles sharpening the eye stick. It's easy to do! So, if you're 50s plus, these eye sticks are perfect. Problem is, it is almost impossible to find anymore. Please Rimmel, bring these back to the US and give us more colors! You would have my business in a heart beat!

Great for older eyes!

This is the only single item that stays more than 3 hours on my eyes. This has lasted on the longest days of 12 hr shifts.   My skin can melt any eye shadow primer, concealer, setting powder or spray, foundation , and mascaras. Yet this stays on and the color stays true. It does not transfer to the upper crease area when worn as a liner. Oh yeah ,it is super creamy and workable, non irritating for my sensitive eyes.  This is literally my desert island item!

Simply a must for oily eyelids!

I looked for a long time for a waterproof eye shadow and this is it. It stays on all day without smudging, cracking, and caking.  I love the pencil so I don't have to apply it with a sponge or brush. My eyes over produce tears so my eyes are always wet. Not a problem with this eye shadow.  My biggest problem is that they are usually sold out. Everyone else must love it too.

Truly waterproof.

Love these eyeshadow sticks. Formula is easy to work with. Colors are good for any eye color. One problem is that the sharpener I bought doesn't sharpen these. It's the right size but doesn't shave the product down. Rimmel doesn't make a sharpener for these so I'm sure I won't buy more without finding a good sharpener.

Easy to use

Slides on well and leaves a light white shimmer & glitter color. I love the shimmer but , could do without the glitter. It does well to light up the eyes for a more awake look.

Scandaleyes eye shadow in blackmail

I wish I had read these reviews before I made a purchase.  I purchased a stick of Scandal Eyes eye shadow and loved it so much I purchased four more!
This product went on smoothly and lasted all day. The eyeshadow is very good quality. As the point on the product wore down I purchased the sharpener to renew the point. However, the eyeshadow stick would NOT sharpen. I even purchased another sharpener to not avail. I now have five virtually new Scandal Eyeshadow sticks I cannot use. A waste of money. Very disappointing.  My rating is based on the fact that I can no longer use the product because it will not sharpen.
