Rated 4 out of 5 by dodyie did a pretty good job We bought this so we could fit all of our family in our extended length minivan and still go on vacation with our clothes!!! It was easy to set up except my husband thinks it is made for a roof carrier that is parallel from front to back and ours is side to side. But we have a son in law that is very crafty in tying knots and it worked. We didn't have them tied right at first and had to stop along the highway and retie them becasue they were flapping on the car. But all was well after that. Everything stayed dry. We kept it on the top of our car even after we emptied it at our destination. I do suggest that you fill it as much as you can or there will be fluttering in the dead air space in the carrier. But we jsut got used to it. We are going to buy rachet straps for our next trip to see if it will help us get it stableized more without the crafty tying. 04/10/2013
